As part of our long-term partnership with SUKA Society, FBS has supported another meaningful initiative aimed at improving access to education for Malaysia’s Indigenous communities. This time, the focus was on Project Warisan Holiday Camp — a three-day educational camp designed for students and parents from rural areas of Perak.
Held from 30 May to 1 June 2025 in Slim River, the camp brought together 62 Indigenous students and 25 parents for an immersive learning experience during the school holidays. The program offered a unique blend of fun and education, helping students strengthen essential skills while building motivation and a sense of belonging within the formal education system.
Throughout the camp, children participated in interactive sessions on:
English language
Science fundamentals
Financial literacy
Cultural heritage
Resilience and personal development

At the same time, their parents attended adult English classes, which empowered them to better support their children’s learning and communication needs.
This is not the first time FBS has joined forces with SUKA Society. In 2024, the companies ran a similar educational camp focused on English language development.
